Nikanti Golf Club is a distinctive 18-hole golf course located in Nakhon Pathom Province, west of Bangkok. Designed by leading Thai golf course architect Piraporn Namatra of Golf East, Nikanti is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and unconventional golf layouts in Thailand.

Measuring a relatively modest 6,850 yards from the championship tees, Nikanti immediately stands out for its routing. Instead of a traditional front and back nine, the course is arranged into three loops of six holes, each beginning and ending at the main clubhouse. Every loop consists of two par-3s, two par-4s, and two par-5s, creating an even distribution of hole types. While this concept is unconventional, the course still plays to a par 72 and offers golfers a wide variety of challenges throughout the round.

The increased number of par-3 and par-5 holes creates additional scoring opportunities, yet Nikanti remains a stern test even for professional players. Fairways are generously wide but heavily contoured, with frequent elevation changes that make level lies rare. Greens are strongly undulated, fast—particularly on downhill putts—and well protected by strategic bunker complexes. Water hazards come into play on many holes, especially on the par-5s.

Unlike many Bangkok courses, Nikanti features notable elevation changes, and prevailing winds funneling through the course’s valleys further influence club selection. Accuracy is rewarded more than raw distance, although several holes remain reachable for birdies or better with precise play.
