BRG Da Nang Legends Nicklaus Golf Course Legend Danang Golf Resort further expanded the club’s golf offerings when its first nine holes opened in 2018. The full 18-hole layout was completed two years later, in 2020, adding another championship-caliber course to Danang’s growing golf scene.

Designed to provide a contrasting experience to the original Norman Course—set among dunes and oceanfront scenery—the BRG Da Nang Legends Nicklaus Golf Course presents a distinctly different style of golf. Much of the property sits on low-lying floodplain land, causing the course to rise prominently above surrounding swamps and rice paddies. Several holes run alongside the Co Co River, offering scenic views of nearby villages and back toward Danang City.

A defining feature of the Nicklaus Course is its network of interconnected lakes and creeks that weave throughout the layout. Greens are often separated from water hazards by wooden bulkheads, a signature Nicklaus design element that gives the course a distinct Floridian character. These imported materials are a hallmark of many Nicklaus courses and play an important role in shaping both strategy and shot selection.

While water is a constant presence, fairways, landing areas, and greens are generously wide. With six tee options on each hole, careful tee selection is important—particularly for shorter hitters looking to avoid lengthy water carries. From the back tees, stronger players are presented with classic risk-and-reward decisions, including the opportunity for long hitters to reach all par-5 holes in two, as each measures 500 yards or less.

All holes on the Nicklaus Course are equipped with modern LED floodlighting, allowing for night golf and the possibility of extended 36-hole days or relaxed twilight rounds. Tall coconut palms dominate the landscaping and help discreetly blend the lighting infrastructure into the natural surroundings.

Both the Nicklaus and Norman Courses share a 4,000-square-meter clubhouse, pro shop, and a 300-yard driving range. Dining options focus primarily on local Vietnamese cuisine, complemented by a solid selection of international golf-friendly snacks. Enjoying the sunset from the rooftop terrace provides a perfect setting to reflect on the round and plan the next chapter of a Vietnam golf getaway.
