Long Bien Golf Club is a meticulously crafted 27-hole layout designed by Nelson & Haworth, conveniently located just south of central Hanoi. Spanning approximately 350 hectares and framed by the scenic Đuống River, it is one of the most accessible golf courses from the heart of the city.
The course features Paspalum fairways, tees, and rough, paired with TifEagle Bermuda greens. Maintenance standards are exceptionally high, resulting in some of the finest playing surfaces among Hanoi’s golf clubs.
Architecturally, the layout makes extensive use of bold earth mounding, rows of palm trees, and meandering streams that enhance both visual appeal and strategic challenge. Measuring 6,700 yards from the blue tees, Long Bien Golf Club emphasizes accuracy over power. Strategically placed out-of-bounds areas, deep fairway bunkers, and elevated greens place a premium on precise shot placement and effective chipping.
Several holes stand out, including the short par-5 fifth, which presents an excellent birdie opportunity with a well-positioned tee shot. The par-4 sixth, a dogleg left, is one of the most demanding holes on the course—particularly when played into the wind—where accuracy from the tee is essential.
The clubhouse is among the largest and most impressive in Hanoi, offering bright, luxurious locker rooms with full-size lockers for both members and visitors. Additional amenities include a full-service spa and massage area, ideal for post-round relaxation or non-golfers. The course is fully floodlit for late-afternoon and evening play, and while it is walkable, golf carts are included in the green fee for added convenience.
